A Commitment to Equality, Equity and Inclusion

7th August 2026

As Greenwich Foodbank continues to grow and evolve, we’re always looking for ways to make sure everyone feels welcome, valued and respected.

We’re proud to share that Greenwich Foodbank has recently signed the Royal Borough of Greenwich Equality and Equity Charter, reaffirming our commitment to creating an inclusive organisation for everyone.

For us, this isn’t just about signing a document. It’s about recognising that every person who comes into contact with Greenwich Foodbank, whether as a guest, volunteer, donor, member of staff or partner organisation, deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness and respect.

Signing the Charter reflects the values that have always been at the heart of our work: compassion, community, dignity and justice. It also challenges us to keep learning, listening and improving, so that Greenwich Foodbank continues to be a place where everyone feels they belong.
