St Alfege Christmas carols and contributions

St Alfege Church in Greenwich raised £543 for the Food Bank at its traditional Christmas celebration.

The Nine Lessons and Carols Service was well attended by around 100 parishioners who were generous in their support of the Trussell Trust charity.

St Alfege Curate, the Reverend Dr Tati Gutteridge, said: “We are delighted to have raised this money for such a worthwhile and efficient enterprise…which benefits the people of our parish and neighbouring parishes so greatly.”

“We look forward to supporting Greenwich Food Bank in the future”,  she added.
