Volunteer CoordinatorÂ
We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Volunteer Coordinator with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to join our team. This role involves inspiring and mobilising over 180 volunteers, developing and implementing volunteer recruitment strategies, conducting interviews and training sessions, and ensuring volunteers understand their roles and responsibilities. The Coordinator will maintain accurate records, manage a volunteer database, and provide ongoing support and resources to help volunteers perform their roles.
The Volunteer Coordinator will act as the main point of contact for volunteers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and recognising their contributions and achievements. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the team to identify volunteer needs, developing and implementing new programmes, evaluating their effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Administrative duties include communicating with volunteers, providing reports at staff meetings, maintaining confidentiality, and managing volunteer rotas for the welcome centres.

Warehouse & Logistics CoordinatorÂ
We are seeking a passionate and responsible Warehouse Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our foodbank warehouses, ensuring efficient stock management and compliance with Trussell Trust guidelines. Reporting to the Foodbank Operations Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator will oversee stock levels, organise re-supply to foodbank centres, and ensure warehouse volunteers are trained and compliant with relevant legal requirements. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, monitoring health and safety, and coordinating the delivery and collection of community-donated food.
The ideal candidate will have experience observing regulations related to manual handling and health and safety, leading a team, and managing warehouse operations. Strong oral communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a clean driving license are required. The role demands physical capability for manual work, comfort with basic computer tasks, and empathy for working with disadvantaged individuals. Passion for addressing poverty, honesty, integrity, and good time management are essential personal attributes. The Warehouse Coordinator will also conduct annual stock takes, ensure the security of the warehouses, and handle data entry and analysis related to stock levels.
