Greenwich Foodbank is delighted to announce that we are recruiting a new Trustee to join our Board.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to use their skills and experience to support our mission to end the need for foodbanks in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring strong governance, and supporting our staff and volunteers to deliver meaningful impact for those experiencing food insecurity.

We are looking for someone who shares our values of dignity, justice, compassion and community, and who is committed to making a positive difference. Whether you are an experienced trustee or considering your first board role, we welcome applicants who can bring fresh perspectives, strong collaboration skills, and a genuine passion for our cause.

As part of our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, we particularly encourage applications from individuals from underrepresented groups, including those with lived experience of food insecurity.

The role is voluntary, with reasonable expenses reimbursed, and involves attending Board and subcommittee meetings throughout the year, alongside occasional engagement with the Chair.
