We’ve partnered up with Run for Charity to offer places in fantastic events in Greenwich, across London and beyond.
Our first feature event is on our doorstep – in Greenwich Park, on the morning of Saturday 1st November.
With 5k, 10k and 1 mile junior distances to choose from, there is a race to suit every runner. All routes head around the beautiful Greenwich Park passing some of our most notable attractions, including the Royal Observatory, The National Maritime Museum and the Old Royal Naval College.
Stephen, who serves on the board, is one volunteer who has accepted the challenge to run Greenwich Park for us:
“It’s important we have a visible presence in our ‘backyard’ to raise awareness and support for our food-bank. For me, I’m looking forward to the challenge, including the raising of sponsorship…!”
All proceeds help Greenwich Foodbank provide our essential and life-affirming help to those we exist for.
This Greenwich Park event is the first in what will be a series of similar challenge events that we can offer places for in the months ahead.
